Hello, my name is Lorna Isobel Lamb and my passion for great parties started very young as I enjoyed catering parties with my mum. After leaving school however I trained as a hairstylist and make-up artist. When I left the U.K for Florida, USA in 1990 I knew it was the right time for a career change, it was not hard to decide in which direction to go. I went back to college and studied catering business and gourmet cooking.

I started working for Hello Florida and Creative Services where I learned everything I needed to know about coordinating, planning, catering, set design, stage management, venue dressing, including floristry, lighting and ambiance styling. I enjoyed this work so much that I opened my own business in Kissimmee, FL 'Lorna Robins the Party Artist, Creating Event Masterpieces'. Where my work included; catering, coordinating and venue dressing for weddings, birthdays, graduations, funerals, anniversaries, corporate and multi-media productions. The locations for these events have included; private homes, Disney's Swan hotel, Lee's Lakeside, Maitland Civic Centre, and Disneys Grand Cypress resort hotel, Hard Rock Live, The Plaza theatre, Planet Hollywood and the Radisson Twin Towers hotel.

Lorna Robins the Party Artist was also chosen as one of the no.1 company's in Central Florida by Expo Enterprises and Central Florida's Bridal & Holiday Expo for the year 2000.

It is with this experience that I have now opened the doors of 'Bella's Wedding & Party Services' in my home town of Stockport, Manchester UK. My team and I are eagerly waiting to hear from you and I look forward to working with you in the future.'

Lorna came all prepared for a lovely afternoon tea at my house, just before my wedding. It was an authentic Victorian tea. She served 26 of my closest friends and my mother was there to enjoy it all too. Lorna gave us a choice of teas, sandwiches and cakes which everyone enjoyed. She set the mood and the tea was a wonderful celebration to occur in such a cosy setting. My mother still talks about it with warm memories. Lorna came to my home to decorate for my daughters birthday. My dining room was converted into a Princess palace, I was stunned and the look on my daughters face was priceless.
